I had no idea what I was getting into when an (amazing) photographer friend, named Teresa Vick, asked me if I wanted to join her group in a project called the Traveling Dress Collective. And to say that I was floored with the talent in the entire collective, as well as my group, is an understatement!!
This has been one of the most exciting projects that I have been part of, ever. I was the first of my group to shoot our dress. In February, it was February people.
I had to sit on these photos, not sharing them with anyone, since February!
Anyway, just a few days prior we had a foot of snow on the ground. I live in the typically gray-wintered pacific northwest (Seattle), so to say that I lucked out with the weather, is also an understatement.
It was still quite chilly, so I am forever grateful for my model and her husband who were willing to walk around the chilly hillside with me and create my vision for our beautiful skirt/dress!!
I freelensed about 90% of the images and had a fantastic time shooting just for me! If you hadn’t already heard, our dress was hand made by one of our very own group members, Lexy! Amazing isn’t it? So is she!
